SERVICE

Are you looking for a hot meal? Need help with groceries, detergent, other household items? NIA is here to serve you & your family if you are in need as part of the Newark, NJ community. Every month we hold a Specialty Pantry, which is a source of household items, feminine products, cleaning supplies and more, for your home. Biweekly, we serve hot meals at our location & at Newark Penn Station as part of our Soup Kitchen. Click on a date, to find more info.

VOLUNTEERS

Hello there! We’re excited that you want to join us in serving the community!

Soup Kitchen Volunteers meet at 9:00AM - Second and last Saturday of the month
Specialty Pantry Volunteers meet at 12:30PM -Second Saturday of the month

We have limited space for volunteers due to COVID-19. We ask before you volunteer, to please keep the state and masjid regulations in mind!

If you would like to sponsor a soup kitchen, please Contact Abdel Baksh (abdel.baksh@niamasjid.org). It is $150 to sponsor one day of soup kitchen.
